Haven’t figured out why the little number 1 is still above my ‘J’ is because I’ve read the welcome and the guidelines and all of the … ahem … several … posts on the board!

I’ll get a proper Cellar dug at some point, but for now this looks a good sort of place. I too have not yet gone to bed, but will shortly. I have a whole heap of learning curve, or something, if I am to be an Administrator – and I shall have to watch out for typos, unless it turns out that this board has an “edit your post” facility.
Still, here it is. Once I have worked out how to make people “staff” we can have discussions about what it needs to have in the way of amenities, and have those discussions out of sight; squabbling among ourselves in public would be unseemly, methinks. When we have it all to our liking, we can start to invite people to join in.
Not sure about exciting, more like freakin’ terrifying!

It has a little pen icon for editing. I wonder if it then says you’ve edited it. Going off to experiment. Oh, feel free to ignore me till the morning, everyone, if you’re off to bed. I know it’s late for you! Just adding a sentence to test out the edit feature.

Ah. If you click on your green spot with the J on it that is displaying the little ‘1’ you will find a message which directs you to a blog post on using Discourse. Then the little 1 vanishes. As, shortly, shall I.
