Aisling, Toby claimed that an ex-girlfriend of his, a drug user, had been taken in to hospital with an overdose and was unconscious there, so naturally her friends there rang him to come and be with her.

That’s it.

The rest is unproven and highly dubious. Another case where the SW’s set up a situation, let it run, gave an satisfactory explanation and seem to expect it’s acceptance OR may return to it one day (unlikely).

I think that in fact, Toby is part of a group smuggling in illegal migrants from Eastern Europe, to work in the sex-trade. He’s probably the Birmingham area boss. I mean he does sound like he could organise something like that
