Yes; you cast on eight stitches with a tail to them, knit three rounds, and then double them by yarn-over, knit, yarn-over, knit all round. That makes a kind of a rosette for the centre once you put the tail up tight.

The colour comes ready-mixed, as it were: Sheepjes Whirls are wonderful.

I use chicken thighs in cooking so I presume birdiesā anatomy is similar in all aviansā¦
I can safely say that no-one in this house has ever carved a sparrerās thigh.

The Knitted Map of Ambridge was taken to The Archers studio in Birmingham last week, where it is now hanging.
It is hoped that there will be some sort of official ādoā next year.
