Have you mounted any very tall horses recently? From the wrong side?
TFD managed to sprain his left one once mounting an almost 18hh beast, his fault entirely for being over confident and insisting he could get up from the ground. He was very brave and went on to complete a cross country course but he did pay for that later.

I can honestly say that I have mounted nothing, short or tall, recently – not so much as a stamp, let alone anything remotely equine.
The bum has somewhat abated, thank you, but I am wincing on TFD’s behalf. Mounting blocks exist because reasons.
