The thing that always makes me wild about people stealing instruments is that itā€™s so very unlikely that the thief will give a damn about the instrument itself, heā€™ll just see it as a source of cash, which really sucks. And thereā€™s no way heā€™ll be paid what itā€™s worth when he hocks it, even if one doesnā€™t count the way what you play comes to feel as you and it grow together.

Well, quite. I believe that my piano has a soul-of-sorts. Itā€™s unlikely that anyone could steal her (sheā€™s a heavy one) to be fair. My last piano was sold when we were impoverished and it almost broke the beely heart, I can tell you. I retain my fiddle and guitar, though, and never play them.

I love the dance moves of these wonderful AI creations.
Accepting that AI will exist regardless of my misgivings, Iā€™d prefer that humanity were a bit more savvy about its own ignorance and that checks and balances might be ā€˜standardā€™.
