Well, the previous thread is fairly clear what it is about:

Maybe we need another thread for omnivores anyway!

And there seems to be agreement that a thread for recipes is a Good Thought, Twellsy: certainly it will make them easier to find in future.
What I would be sorry to see happening is 'take that to the food thread ’ splittings when we are happily muttering about supper plans in the Cellar.
