It’s all been about feeding for a couple of days. We managed to dodge showers and had a grand BBQ with the Embra crew, yesterday. DD and GD came over this morning and I made mushroom guvec for 3 and a sumptuous repast for GD of little prawns, focaccia, grapes and a ‘nana’ for pud. Tonight yer bees had smoked salmon scramblies, asparagus and chips.

I am inclined to think that an afternoon which included
- a Greggs’ sausage roll;
- a lengthy browse in a haberdasher’s;
- gettin’ rained on;
- meeting a delightful black Labrador, name of Polly;
- and discovering an absolutely cracking pub
counts as a bloody good one.
