I was given my six “good” pipes (that I only smoke at home) by a good friend who’d given up. (I have two newer ones that I travel with, nice but not the same.)
There is something very pleasing about that, Hedgers.

Do we know how the bastard blood budgies are planning to celebrate?

I had a friend whose child, wanting toasted cheese, put cheese onto a buttered slice of bread and put it into the toaster, having first put the toaster on its side “so the cheese wouldn’t fall off and get on the hot elements”. My friend, and I, could see the reasoning; it just didn’t quite work.
Free warfarin for all?
Oi mitts off my warfarin stash!

Well, yer honour, it’s like this…
I was chucked out of the Brownies, but just for dissent.
Had a shingles jab, this afternoon and I confess to having quite a sore arm. Nothing to do with the spear thrower, I’m certain. So, I’ll shut up about it.

Hope the soreness is better today.

Ooh, suckling pig. Yum.
(And yes, cute too.)
My first thought was to calculate cooking time for a suckling pig
To me, he has the look of a feller who would eat it raw.
I’m hoping that piggy would put up a fight.

What made you decide that you wanted to do this particular stretch?
I just think every time I’ve ever been on the ferry, I thought, I kind of want to jump in and swim across. And I’ve had a lot of people tell me that’s not possible. So I think a lot of it was spite.
