I think it was John Peel introduced me to that one. It is quite magnificent in its awfulness. I’ve often wondered what Brian Fahey felt about that album. After all the effort he put into the arrangements (which are faultless - he was Shirley Bassey’s musical director, after all), to put that “vocal” over the top. Did they tell him what they planned, I wonder?

Have 'phoned the Surgery from my Mobile & arranged a blood test & to see a Dr

Have 'phoned TalkTalk from my Mobile,as I have twice used the Online Chat service to no avail

They have confirmed that there is a problem between my Line & the Exchange

An engineer will come on Monday, I believe

Calls are being diverted to my Mobile

Am going to check the car now

I have an car battery chargy fing wot I got when That Fish’s previous car was having battery problems. Lovely piece of kit, just don’t look inside to see the hot glue holding it all together. This is the current model.

But it’s only really useful if you have a car you’re not using for weeks at a time. Otherwise a noo battery will be more reliable, and prolly cheaper.

Eircom’s great rip-off:

  • Can’t use land line to call help desk because it on same circuit as internet which has to be disconnected for them to fix line

  • Only contact is 1850 number

  • Long wait on hold

  • 1850 numbers are excluded from bundled minutes / Family & Friends

It may reinforce it, Fishy dere, but it cannot confirm an impression which is entirely erroneous. The poor creature went out into lovely sunshine and a few minutes later it was as if a tap had been turned on. He came in out of the rain at cheetah speed, poor little sod.
