So, who wants to help ... to cower in the cellar?

Morning all

I am knitting like mad

Am I the only one who goes nuts and knits like fury when nearing the end of a project?

Yon Bull’s gansey is next - it’s half done and being on a loom like this

so should go fast…

Not sure why it’s called ‘serenity’ though…

I’d be anything but…

In much the same way that a cat is serene while watching a mousehole, waiting for her chance to commit 'orrible carnage?

Tsk tsk

The repetitive nature of winding wool or yarn of your choice around pegs to create a warm garment is a serene activity

Like hand sewing or any sort of working on creative projects

Well most of my crafty group seem to agree with me!

I made an error with my scarf

49 inches needed

Not 39 inches

so of I go clicking my needles again

I WILL finish this!

Rather a lot of unknitting here (cowering behind the Fifth Amendment).

Worse, I came in here having just read elsewhere a request to see The Fish’s porn movie and the first thing I see is…

Ladies, may I respectfully remind you that this is the Cellar, not a sewer?

(Which is what we gels had minds like, according to one sorely-tried school mistress back in the Late Cretaceous)

A sewer? I raise you a cesspit, Gus…

I’ll raise the tone - have a Poodle putting up with Christmas cheer:

Beautiful! But I do worry a little about that tree, with a bouncy poodle in the room.

She’ll avoid it, TFM, knowing which side her bread’s buttered on.

Lovely! We had an extremely well-behaved poodle as a visitor the other day. He is about a quarter of the size of your handsome black one. He had never met a cat but was disposed to be friendly and approached Heidi, tail wagging. She was doubtful but not hostile until he tried to sniff her behind. Excuse me, do you mind! Hiss, swipe (didn’t connect). Poor old boy, he was puzzled but never gave up trying to be friendly.

I think if they had longer, they’d get along fine. (Um, probably as long as it was understood who is The Boss.)
