Twellies, do you know about the Magic Loop for knitting small circles, instead of a small circular needle?

Would you Could you please?

I work at the k or p x to the cable then cable however many (4 is my limit) so I take whatever number onto my cable needle and knit the same number of stitches level of pattern

Complex ones cross my eyes and dance around on me

OK, I’ll have a bash at elaborating the pattern for you, which might take a wee while. For the braid element on the front, I suggest that you take it to your friendly local knitting guru and get her to show you how. I’m not great at cabling myself, but I think this one looks more complicated than it actually is, IYSWIM.

And start the jumper with the back piece: that way you will be less tempted to give up in despair when it comes to the braiding!

Which size would you be wanting?

Erm size 8 plus size 12!

Also known as XL

I think the cable up the front is a 4 stitches per strand jobbie

That I can do having practised on squares

Have looked again

It will be a 4 stitch cable in my version

Or more likely, lots of Tesco sandwiches, because they don’t add faldilals and needless greenery to inflate the price of the things the way Waitrose and M&S do in the motorway services.

And I am left alone and palely loitering with sundry Tasketti to get on with while I have the place to myself.
