So, who wants to help ... to frivol in the cellar? (Part 1)

Etofenamate can exacerbate Asthma, as well as causing dizziness Twellsy, so be extra careful.

Indeed we do.
Several have had it and know it is horrible.
ETA: echoing our Chatelaine, be careful. TENS machine possible at all?

What machine?

I am grabbing the frozen peas and then wallloping the over blanket onto the hip and it seems to be a bit of a help

If I were a racehorse my name would be named UHU or Araldyte

Twellsy, you know what a TENS hingmy is.

Hope you get some decent sleep.
Sleep well, Cellarites all.

We seem not to have had any Fishy tales of northern frills. Oh, by the way - how goes the sciatica for you :fish:?

Twellsy - I hope that you manage to get shot of this added embuggerance pdq. I have had little luck with it, really. I do find that lying on my unaffected side with the other leg drawn up as high as possible takes the pressure off the noive.

There are knee wedges & various Pillocks one can deploy to support the limbs in these seemingly uncomfortable positions.

Yes, there are, Carinthia. How one would sleep in one position all night is the problem :grimacing: How are you?

I sleep most nights as though I have been laid out, with my legs elevated on an Pillock or wedge.

The Lad & DiL use an bolster. When they had Covid she was told to lie in the prone position, which wasn’t easy. The Lad couldn’t do that, because of the CPAP mask.

I am uncomfortable, but ok, thank-you Darling.

It has been a bad week for me & my campsite friends, as we were steamrollered in court on Monday.

We are upset, but remaining calm, & the next big day is December 5th.

Love the cat

I was able to go to art class and am delighted with my work today

I have been recruited into helping with the Christmas decorations for the folk in the sheltered dwelling complex in the village

This has thrilled me
As has the art teacher wanting my advice on wreaths

Is it daft to be chuffed by such little things?

Nope. Little to you, huge to some others.

It may have been the coldest five days I’ve ever spent, including childhoods in a hardly-heated house in Reading in the days BCH (before central heating), but given the electricity bill just over a thousand quid for a month that had just happened, I can’t really blame the householder! Norway has a strange billing system which seems to involve the price per unit changing by the minute according to demand.

Bloody Ell, Fishy

Cold & tired is nottan good combination

I hope that there was soup, at the very least, & that you were snug in yer woolly jumpers.

Itizz very hard to get warm when you are thoroughly chilled.

Hot water bottles are being deployed up & down the land as I speak/write.

I’m sure people there who haven’t had terrifying energy bills have warmer houses

Or ones who live dug into hills with geothermal taps, rather than above ground where the cold is.

Geepers! Much sympathy for the chilling, Fishers.
