So, who wants to help ... to frivol in the cellar? (Part 1)

Hey, at the bottom of the recipe it says ‘Vodka may be added…’. I wonder if that’s right.

I made ‘pigs in blankets’ today. I had some lovely Sossinges, & some smoked back bacon what needed using up.

They were delicious, both hot & cold.

There may even be 3 left…

Time for a yardarm. Sorry about the fighting magpies on it, I recommend earplugs. Or a really good air rifle.

Magpies are a vital source of helium. Just look at tge way they bounce when they walk.

Still in North. Not bin struck by lightning.

Morning all

Packing for tomorrow nearly done

Lovely B has sorted my nice chunky wool knitting pattern out and written it in larger easy to read script for me

Have I said how I admire and treasure her?

I am having a bit of a panicky feeling about this operation but I suspect it is only normal to be apprehensive about a bit of a bionic implant

I am however looking forward to the results of a new knee bringing pain free walking

Who knows maybe I can walk some of my lard away this year…

It’s very important that you do the exercises afterwards, Twellsy, although it will by all accounts, be Bluddy painful.

I am not surprised that itizz on your mind. You’re having surgery.

Orders more Candles…

I am certain that I will be fine as I am under the care of the vampires in the main blood hospital where they are so good to their charges

I can panic in here and not worry my lovely Bull excessively

Knitting bag sorted now and I am going to sort out my condiments and snack bag

I am using the bags that come with my good walker as I am insisting on taking it rather than the flimsier one issued to me by the OT

I can trust my good walker with my weight and I know its brakes work to hold the thing in place

Don’t panic, Twellsy, as that will just give a very odd set of readings.

The most stable walker is obviously the one to take, & use it to cart your stuff around too.

The latest question is

Do I need the spice jar sized mill that grinds dried minced garlic as well as the mayo and sea salt mill with the pepper grinder?

I will try to get flavour one way or another out of hospital food!

I wish you luck with your packing, Twellsy and shall follow your exploits from Peebles, as that’s where I intend to bee for three days from tomorrow. There’s usually a good signal or two 'round those parts.

It’s good to hear that Posh is being cared for, Carinthia. Good for you, being such a determined and capable advocate.

Granny juice…hmmm…I had the unfortunate experience of receiving an urban dictionary definition…The bread looks and tastes fab, Gus and I’ve left some for that Sparrer whom I’m glad to see has arrived back where it belongs.

Back to packing.
