The Wheatsheaf was one of my favourite watering holes when I lived a not-too-long bus ride away in East Didsbury. I presume it’s still a Robinson’s house. Was pretty much the permanent winner of the CAMRA Pub of the Year for the region. Mind you, that was forty years ago…

I have managed to make contact with the Orsepiddle where wor Posh is. I spoke with her Nurse, & Posh waved when she heard my name.
She has had at least 2 meals (Hallelujah) & is undergoing various tests.
