Tap Mr Janie gently on the muzzle with a rolled- up newspaper, dear.

You are not alone.
It was very delicious indeed. Though I say it as probably shouldn’t, I am a dab hand at pastry. It is going to serve as YMCA tomorrow.
Is that an enamel pie dish too?
Happy Sigh

It is indeed. From Tesco, believe it or not. Very satisfactory.
You can’t beat the proper equipment, can you?

I found it remarkably easy to grease.
I have just looked in the cupboard & I have 9 enamel pie dishes in various sizes. There should be 10, but BiL didn’t return one after I made an Fambly-sized S&K pie for him.
4 of them are 43 years old!
Both meat & fruit pies were made on enamel plates throughout my childhood. I hated the thick pastry ‘rim’, but we had to eat it!

Have just been rudely awoken by a Priest on the PA system
That is not good for me health
They could warn us
What would a priest be PA-aing about? “If you see an angel, do not run. This will trigger their hunting reflexes. Stay perfectly still and think about sad-eyed orphans and/or the glory of God.”
Morning, Twellsy and all.

At least there’s no buns in here to attract nuns
PA was a mass for the sick
I am watching for monks trying to feed dry wafers to folk
When you get a substituted item in a Waitrose delivery, they sometimes give you two of them for the price of the one you ordered, to sort of make up for not getting quite what you wanted, I guess. Well today, I ordered Waitrose Extra Large King Prawns ASC (150g) and they have substituted 2 x Waitrose Extra Large King Prawns ASC (220g).
So I get 440g of Waitrose Extra Large King Prawns ASC for the price of 150g.
A win, that.
[voooooshity]
Need any help wiv them prawns, TFM?
I ordered ‘Click and Collect’ from Tesco at Christmas - first and last time. We received curly parsley instead of thyme, ‘all-purpose’ potatoes instead of King Edwards (despite the fact that we discovered KEs in-store), no parsnips, manky carrots and even mankier sprouts. M&S to the rescue, though it grieved me.

NALL.
The pickers fill orders from the shelves on the shop floor and if a product isn’t restocked, make a substitution on the spot. So the KEs spot was empty when your order was picked but there were plenty out back.
