So, who wants to help ... to frivol in the cellar? (Part 1)

Smoked salmon scramblies with asparagus and olive bread, chez bee.

Again, not a ‘like’ like…
None of my business, but are you trussed in one of they ‘smart’ dressings? They cycled through quite a few different kinds with Peggy’s Leg*, and achieved a very good result.

*I kid you not

We are having it relatively easy, up here. It has been a doddle to keep the hive temperature down at 22.5°C, downstairs. Tomorrow will be different, as the heat izz seeking us, up here. Spare a Cellarly thort for a very gravid and gently glowing DD. who suffers from hayfever and can take no tablets at all. D-Day 22nd and counting.

I have and continue to spare many thoughts in that direction, little Bee.
My thoughts on pregnant women, particularly late in the third trimester, being advised to avoid a whole raft of perfectly benign medications have, probably, no place here. Was just talking about your DD with the Ma, as it happens, and she wishes you all well, power to the Beely elbows, and commiserates with the Glowing One
Sleep well, dear Bee, and Cellarites all.
Gxx

PS: could the Cellar please also spare thoughts for the Ma’s lovely and kind German neighbour, who is at a similar stage in the process.

I have lit an Extry Candle, Gus

I have also battled to get 7 tiny tablets out of the blister pack. I Bluddy hate those things, & much prefer them in a bottle or small container.

Sigh

Bastards! Pharmaceutical packaging is seldom user-friendly and often quite stupid. Oh, and let’s discontinue the made-up boxes of a week’s worth, eh? That’s going to work really well.
Yes, I know what they are called. The word has the same effect on me as ‘moist towelette’, though, so just don’t. This is a new Cellar; it would be a pity to find it ankle-deep in puke and bile.

Thank you for the arson, Darling.

Nothing fancy, just a basic absorbent / moisturising dressing. Very light, so not too much of a problem. Being changed tomorrow afternoon, so should be OK to get through the worst of the heat. (Back to something like normal on Tuesday!)

Well, me dear, good luck to it tomorrow and please take very good care altogether.

Tuesday? Normal? How the heck will we tell, down in here wiv just the light from the Gin-pump to go by…

My pharmacy offers a “we will get the pills out of blister packs for you” service.

I’m ecstatic when my pharmacy just hands over the meds, tbh.

Mr Bee izz doing battle with blackbirds (or Turdus as they’re known in this Family) azz they’re digging up small plants in our alpine trough. Actually, this is an old cattle water trough that my lovely FiL gave me, decades ago. Anyhoo, netting hazz been applied.
