A reddish dark blonde
Going lighter covers or blends the pure white grey hair so I can lie to myself about the aging process

We have had some Thunder and Lightning, not Very Frightening. This is the first ovvits kind witnessed all year. At least we had a bit of heavy rain.

About three hours
R is so good at taking very small strands of hair and colouring them and ensuring that there are lots of small strands with one of three colours that make my hiliights look natural

I admire your stoicism, as ever, Twellsy. I haven’t visited a hairdresser for well over two years (just got out of the way ovvit) and wouldn’t know where to start.

I couldn’t stand 3 hours at the hairdresser.
Mine is done & dusted in 30 minutes - sprayed with water, cut & blow dried.
I daren’t risk those backwash sinks any longer.

Ach I missed getting my hair done while the Bull was made redundant and he noticed my missing my hair being done so it is my treat going for a while of pampering my hair
We had photographers at crafty group today for a magazine showing the good work of ABI so we were all looking happy and smiling
I made an orangutang as a mascot for the group and when the photographer heard that I had knitted it they went mad about the beastie taking photos of him in the middle of the group and having him on his own showing off his jumper that B knit him with ABI on it
And I got a cheque from the Customs and Excise today
That was a nice surprise

“Ginger without the courage of its convictions”; I’ve encountered such a wide range of colours described as SB that I have no clear idea of what is properly meant.
It’s fun when one has all the little foil envelopes on and looks like a dinosaur out on the razz, but it’s a painfully slow and tedious process overall. Speakin’ as a dirty mouse who went blonder and blonder.

There was a hairdressing emergency while I was there
Some poor girl getting married on Thursday and her hairdresser cancelled on her so she is frantic trying to get her hair and the bridesmaids and her mother somewhere to get her hair done less than 72 hours before her wedding
R is going to do the bride and another one and another hairdresser is taking the rest
Poor R has a full book on Thursday so it will be hectic

They could just cancel the wedding; she’ll probably regret it sooner or later. And bridesmaids are vermin and parasites and more trouble than they are worth.
