So, who wants to help ... to frivol in the cellar? (Part 1)

IDSWYM. Experience suggests you will feel a lot more human as the day goes on. Hope so, anyway!

Am not sure that goat meat is available in Chesterfield…

I am intrigued. Have you trebucheted a goat curry, some goat meat or an actual goat? I’m not sure trebucheting goats is entirely humane.

I think using the meat reaches maximum goat-density. I assume that spices ā€˜n’ things are available north of Watford, in spite of the comments of my friend who grew up in Redditch.

And if trebucheted in meat form it will be silent and thus permit you to exploit the window of opportunity during The Funeral.

Yup, I reckon I’m up to 90% now.

TFD went for a little stroll a coupleof hours ago and took a few snaps of the, erm, natural world on his phone…

Interesting wildlife here in Norfolk.

I will have to unfriend you if you do;- ) No logic to my position at all, but hunting and eating hares is beyond my personal pale

Yay! for the 90% btw, and I trust by the morning you will be wholly restored.

Yay and amen to that, for all ovvus.

In the absence of trebucheted (sp?) goat, I made for us garlic/chilli fried prawns, patatas bravas and fried padrón peppers. Quaite naice, we thought. No cooking for me, until Tuesday evening (by which time, I’ll be delighted to do it).

Grandson had his first immunisations, this afternoon, and seems to have coped. We’ll see him on Sunday. It struck me that I used to take various cosmetic fripperies etc. for DD’s delight, but, this time I’ll be taking:

and Mutti Polpa finely chopped tomatoes.

Ohh! The good stuff!
Glad the young man has suffered no ill-effects from his perforation. It always made me feel a complete heel. Go in with moderately happy infant. Emerge with one crying real tears. Yes, I know it’s for their own good. Still felt treacherous and horrible.

Your supper sounds delicious. Frying potatoes at the moment. Not bravas, though, so probably cowardly. ā€œTake up sufficient yellow potatoesā€¦ā€

One of mine didn’t cry at all for the first one, but started to cry the moment we got into the surgery the next time we were there, and was in furious square-mouthed yelling mode until the actual injection; after that all was sweetness and light as we left.

Until the next time.

The Nurse looked abit surprised, as I turned him towards her, so that he would know who was responsible for this outrage…

I have been moved to the local hospital

A brand new ward just built and a private room with a wet room of my own

Duty doc wrote me up for the good sleeping tablets so I hope to sleep

As someone who has a hare in the garden I take a dim view of eating hares

I saw a regimental goat in its finery and thought the sparrer would have designs upon said goat

The soldiers with the goat looked a bit dangerous so I am glad the goat was left alone

I am assuming that is altogether a Good and Welcome Thing, and also clinically speaking a good sign, so Huzzah!

S!eep well, Twellsy. Good tablets or no, it has to have been a tiring day.
