So, who wants to help ... to frivol in the cellar? (Part 2)

Am having an 3rd pint…

It has been that sort of day.

Thanks, both. Today has been much more straightforward, thank goodness.

Good. Take the weight off your feet and have a gorilla?

I’m not sure about that, does gorilla go with gin? I’ve just poured myself a large one, and my feet are now well and truly up.

I’m sorry it’s been that sort of a day, but AttaChatelaine on the    front.
Gxx

And I am glad TFM’s day has been a bit more straightforward

I will have to 'phone the Surgery tomorrow. I wrote 2 notes about 2 medications, & they have been ignored.

Sigh

All too well.

OK, I’ll have a large gin’n’gorilla then, please. Stirred, not shaken.

(I have no idea what I’m talking about here)

(no change there, then)

I have upset my dentist

He has luvverly new teeth for me but I broke a tooth at the root and swallowed it at the weekend

So he has to get another tooth added to my new teeth

So I’m going to have the root removed tomorrow morning

Oh joy!

Poor Twellsy! Bluddy teefs and their horrible behaviours… I am very sorry for you, indeed.

Glad that today has been easier for TFM and TFD. Gorillas all round! No, I have no clue, either.

Having battled for years to have my blasted BP medication (first prescribed almost thirty years ago) doled out 3 rather than 1 monthly, the sheer relief of knowing that I’ll not run out of stuff that I truly need is immense. And, yes, I push the limits and have emergency rations. Bad bee. But Pharmacist, not Doctor, has relieved my anxiety. KOKO, Carinthia.

The gorillas are a Goon Show reference.

“Have a gorilla?”
“No thanks, I’m trying to give them up.”
or
“Have a gorilla?”
“No thanks, I’ve just put one out.”

I used to get it every 2 months, Soo, but haven’t been able to since Covid. The only exception is HRT, which is issued quarterly.

I think that they feel that I take too many things to be trusted with an extra weeks worth, although I don’t over order for the sake of it.

If I were going away, they would supply more, but it might take me more than 1 attempt to get them!

Sigh

I understand the logic behind avoidance of over-prescribing, Carinthia, but it p***ed me off having to practically beg for meds that I needed to stay alive (no hyper-bollocks involved). Our Practice Pharmacist has relieved our hard-working GPs of another chore. Yay!

Time for bed. Best nights, Cellarites,

Soo xx.

Gin, Darling. :cocktail: :cocktail: :cocktail: :cocktail: :cocktail:

Honestly, I am the least of their problems. I am not greedy, & I buy my own Paracetamol…

I added 2 notes to the online request explaining why I needed the extras, & they haven’t Bluddy well read them.

One was about the Methotrexate, which is the Sunday night one, & I have some, but the other was about my Thyroxine, & I have had 2 tablets in 7 days.

I am cross.

Sigh.

Good luck, Twellsy, and have a hug in advance.

I’m very glad for you, Soo. Pharmacists are brill, in my experience.

Ah. Thanks for clearing that up.

Sympathies, I hope you get it sorted today.

Right, off to face another day. At least we no longer have to visit that hospital.

I am so lucky in my GP who knows that I am not asking for things for fun

A pone call and he emails the prescription to G and she has it ready to collect in short order

If you got that on prescription, Sparrer, it’s not Gin, it’s surgical spirit, and will need a touch of mixer.
