So, who wants to help ... to frivol in the cellar? (Part 2)

Do not feed gin to honey badger. Drink it yourself.

I tried turning my phone upside down and still can’t see much of a resemblance. It does look vaguely like one of The Monkees…

Thinking of badgers, here’s a thing. On our way back from Embra we saw six dead badgers, within a five mile stretch, lying in the road verges. Corvids abound in this area, but not one was to be seen picking at any badger carcase. A deer had been slain, one might think similarly, and the carrion crows were having a rare old feast. Poison? Crows know, y’know.

When we moved in here in south Bucks, it was quite usual tp see a roadkilled something on the motorway and then two or three smaller somethings a few yards along, where red kites had been struck while eating. Now we don’t see the dead kites any more (but still plenty of live ones, and a fair bit of roadkill).

Some don’t agree, I feel. I can accept roadkill, to an extent, because the corvids have a good feed but I don’t think that those badgers were killed by vehicles. Still - the crows know and that must suffice.

Walkies!

Must go & fetch me medication today.
It was available yesterday, apparently, but I wasn’t up for fetching it.

Bank Holiday Bolleaux means that I have been without some for 6 days.

Sigh

If my Cunning Little Plan has worked, I should now have a week in hand, azzitwere…

My Mother fell in love with a donkey foal in Ireland. My Irish Uncle offered a lot of money for it, as it was the first time he had seen her smile.
