I once changed the brake pads and shoes on my car with my father’s assistance then took it to get it serviced in the Ford garage to keep the warranty going
I was then told by the receptionist that the car needed new brake pads and shoes and the mechanic was only letting it go as long as I understood the danger
I pointed to the old shoes and pads on the back seat and asked for my keys
