The Moon, on our journey south on Sunday, was very big and beautiful, We await her eclipse with something akin to we’ll try to catch it if we’re awake.

I’ve had an earworm all morning. Unremarkable.
It’s Edelweiss. Not so good.
With a change to the lyrics. Make up your own mind - ‘Trilobites, trilobites…’

Unusually, for me, I awoke without an earworm but now I have one. Thank you.

I have made a harvest pie

Butternut squash carrot aubergine cauliflower cabbage mushroom and tenderstem brocolli all cooked down together in butter and placed in a dish lined with the blanched outer leaves of the cabbage and shocked and used instead of pastry

Topped with a cabbage leaf butter and pine nuts

The broccoli ‘needed using’, Carinthia. I’d have tucked in to your salad glady, had we not had the brockers casting a baleful eye.

I’d have been happy to eat your broccoli for you, I’m very fond of the stuff.

The veggie meat was rather good according to the Bull

I really enjoyed it with roasted parsnips on the side

The Bull won’t eat parsnips

So I have to eat them all myself
I love parsnips

I can do you a lovely truncated spur, if that’s any use. Or a terminal moraine. Or that perennial favourite, an oxbow lake. About the private life of the Ghanaian economy, which once I knew in indecent detail, please do not ask. My answers would be sure to disappoint.
