Bluddy Hissing it down all day today here.

That looks beautiful, Soo

More Heavy Domestics here again. The Trip-switch tripped & I sorted it out, but the kettle wouldn’t work.

Noo fuse in the kettle plug, & it works again.

Home from a motorsport event

An endurance trial

Where the competitors drive very slowly and have various stop boxes and things to note as written while driving over a rough field in such a way that HQ can read it

The folk are determined to make sure that nobody starves so you are forced to eat sossige butties with bacon

And the best wheaten soda I have ever tasted

I most definitely made sure I got the recipe

I will play with it before sharing it

Just to be sure it works before sharing here

Back at field HQ after first performance of the new songs. Boss’s piece went down really well

I have a suspicion these might go down well, too…

2½ years and they’ll have a single malt ready to ship.

(Guess who’s just provisionally booked himself a gig in Moffat…)

Well now, that all sounds most satisfactory, joe. Congrats to the Boss.

I love the look of The Local Dram: good label design.

By ‘eck, it’s chucking it down. Epic & biblical stuff. Cat is expressing Extreme Disapproval via the angling of her ears.

Slightly less biblical now, but still at least apocryphal.

A wader, I’ll be bound…plover, perhaps.

A grand day has been had. The weather is cool but largely dry with little wind, so we walked by the coast and mountains. It’s very good to escape from responsibility, although I was beaten in Scrabble (but not by better words, imo). This was lunch:

and a supper of crackers and patĂŠ has been thoroughly enjoyed.
