I have been to get a 3rd cast on my foot
Aren’t I lucky?
CFR prepped for dinner here
I can think of a few brats I could use that on…
Meanwhile, finally incontrovertible proof, courtesy of FB:
We know the earth is round because if it was flat, cats would have knocked everything off by now.
And who is to say that this place is the true world, and not the floor onto which the cats have knocked everything?
Meanwhile I have been out to get COVIDiated, and had to promise not to drive for 15 minutes afterwards. (Nearest place to us that offers it for those who aren’t in the current NHS bracket is half an hour’s drive away, tough luck if you don’t drive.) Fortunately this was on my way back to the car.
Ah, but did they have currywurst?
No such luck. Your basic sossinge inna bun.
I hope that the bun was unreamed…

Indeed, it was an entirely conventional split bun.
Thank all passing deities for that!
Tonight there izzan sort of Chicken Jalfrezi at Carinthia Towers. I used the last portion of the Martyr soup to liven up an fairly Ornery curry sauce, along with a couple of spoonfuls of chutney.
There is enuff for tomorrow too

We dined on chicken fried rice with a side dish of stir fried veggies in hoisin sauce courtesy of Tesco
I did the rice from scratch as J prepped the ingredients for me
So I felt that using readymade Vegetables is permitted
I soaked the rice for about 3 hours whilst the sauce was gently burbling.

I never soak rice as I use Tilda basmati rice. Bring it to the boil, simmer for 10 minutes then drain and rinse with boiling water. Never fails.
We had Mexican lentil burgers with spicy green beans and tomato bread for dinner.

Luckily I’d almost finished supper when all the lights went out in this bit of the house… which includes the kitchen.
