So, who wants to help ... to frivol in the cellar? (Part 2)

NALL, Fishy.

I use Basmati rice, but this isn’t Tilda.
I once stayed in an Gasthaus with severial Japanese sportsmen. They took over the kitchen for soaking & washing rice.

You’re all very kind, but “if I lean on it in a particular way it’s mildly uncomfortable” is not exactly a Major Imposition. Some of us are living with that all the time!

I still have the marks on my left arm from mine. The Nurse used it as a guide for the Shingles vaccination….

Maybe I should have had Medicinal Beer?

I have just had some Medicinal Beetroot! :joy::joy::joy:

I was slicing a packet of 4, ready to go into the ‘light pickling’ jar, & had to eat a couple of end pieces to make it all fit…

Thanks, Fishers. We are not homeless and the worst that can happen might be that our buyer bogs off. I am still feeling sorry for us, mind

Hugs dear twin

I have had wonderful news

All my balance speech and shakiness problems are probably the result of one of my epilepsy meds so the neurologist is changing it very slowly

I am thrilled by this as you can imagine

No more looking drunk even when I am sober and hopefully no more briken bones

Sorry to hear that, Soo. House transactions are the worst.

My brother, currently ‘downsizing’ as he retires, had a little triumph last week though. A couple of weeks before he was due to exchange contracts his buyer tried the ‘drop the price by £10K or I’ll have to pull out’ trick. Brother was having none of that and told him to sod off - house went back on the market - a few days later buyer came back and said OK I’ll pay the full price - brother said bugger that, you’ll have to pay £20K more than originally agreed to compensate for the hassle. Buyer agreed!
