Mais, non! Every day is Poodle Day :poodle: She is being transported up to Embra, tomorrow, for a much-needed hairdo, on Saturday… We’ll stay overnight and travel back south on Thursday to await news of incipient plasterers that may make us hurtle north, again. Well, that’s grand.

Best nights, Cellarites.

Genuflexion is just bending the knee, so unless you have your leg sticking straight out you’re doing that already.

I might have to have wires put in surgically

I have hired a scooter that allows my broken foot and leg to rest it while I scoot with my good leg

Freedom!

Might beer happen please?

Scooter sort of quite like this:

Recommended by the acute fracture clinic - it’s not a racing machine, or anything like the ā€œe-scootersā€ that are so much favoured by suicidal kids …

Give me a day on the drive learning how to drive the scooter :kick_scooter: and I will be lethal

Hmm

A few go faster stripes and a bit of work with a spanner and it should be a decent sealed surface racing scooter

Thank you dear Chatelaine for the suggestion

When we moved in here we were seeing very few birds in the garden and we have been trying to plant stuff that would attract them but I didn’t expect to see what I saw this morning. I got up early, stumbled into the kitchen and saw a flash of colour - there was a jay, of all things, sitting in my baby maple tree. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a jay in a garden before, only in woodland.

Hurrah for the Jay!
