So, who wants to help ... to frivol in the cellar? (Part 2)

I wish that I had been painting bags! Instead, I have been replacing a lightbulb in the ‘lobby’ between the hall & kitchen.

Bluddy flush fitting with 5 screws…

I am having coffee annan :smoking: now.

The cover may not get put back on today…

Oof

The lightshade/cover will be going back tomorrow. I can’t do the arms above the head whilst standing on the steps any more today.

I’m cold now. 9° outside, but feeling like 6° today.

My swivel chair in which I sit at my desk has recently started to squeak when it moves from side to side. I don’t know where it is doing this, and I am fairly sure 3-in-1 is not the answer… My immediate feeling is “graphite paste”, but you need to have a good idea where that is needed.

Mine started to do that, Fishy, & I had to replace the gas lift.

Do not attempt to turn the chair upside down on your own. They are surprisingly heavy, & the castors are an Bugga.

You don’t want to trap the Fishly fins.

Wise advice, Carinthia.

Seems we’ll not be rescuing Poodle, tomorrow, as the pre-plastering remedial chap has a poorly bairn to care for. Flip. At this rate we’ll have moved to a house that excludes pets…I’d still like the sandwiches, mind. Managed to organise Christmas Day lunch, so that’s something.

Picnic hamper is in the hive kitchen

The peskytarian butties in the blue Tupperware and the vegetable offerings in the green Tupperware

The red Tupperware on the worktop beside the hamper is assorted meat butties

The flasks will need to be filled with boiling water and then the bees are good to go for the day

Was a whole chocolate cake too much for one hamper I wonder

I can confirm that a whole chocolate cake would not be too much for Mr Bee,

I have a physioterrorist to tame this afternoon

My sciatic nerve went mad on 1st August 2022 and has been agonising at intervals since; at the moment it’s quiescent. I found myself a local physio who keeps it under control. Without her initial help, I was unable to walk.

Yesterday I got a call from the GP’s practice offering me an appointment with an NHS physiotherapist on 20th November 2024. I make that 2 years,15 weeks and 6 days from first report to action. Didn’t they do well?

(And they only managed that because the cardio team at the hospital sent them a letter telling them to.)
