So, who wants to help ... to frivol in the cellar? (Part 2)

If you have a clubcard Tesco is nice… They have legs of lamb at £14.70/kg, but £6.75/kg clubcard price. So I got one.

I think that the Clubcard offers can be very good, Fishy. I saved £9 on a very ornery little shop in Tiny Tesco last week.

No Waitrose for miles here.

A pint of summat sounds good

Now I want to become a brewery and make a beer called Summat. What style should it be, Darlink?

Bitter, or IPA, please.

Not a big fan of IPAs, so we’ll work on the bitter. Not sure I need to work that hard, tbh [grinnity]

Ooh, nice dog! ‘Scuse me…

Some of us works very hard on the bitter. Once the barrel’s opened, you know it won’t keep.

I have a big Ouch!

Had a cold over the last few days, now much improved except for a nasty post nasal drip that is making me cough and cough and cough. So much so that I have pulled a muscle in my upper abdomen and it bloody Hurts. And I still can’t stop myself from coughing, not however hard I try.

Waaaail!!

Owowowowowowow! Much sympathy. Nothing I can do but express same…

I came here to say that that I am fair gobsmacked: last year the WHS month-to-a-view two-column calendar (plain) cost £5.99 – it’s printed on the back.

This year it cost £4.99, similarly printed.

Shome mistake shurely?

Been yelled at by bats and apparently all my insides are where they should be. (This was supposed to happen in March, so if there’d been an actual problem I’d have known about it by now, but…)

Spicy carrot soup is available.

I thought I had coriander, but didn’t, so Garam Masala was used. It’s really nice though, & warming.

Insides in order/where they should be, is always good, Dunnock.

I love the idea of a cageful of angry bats; furthermore, they would obviate the need for that chilly and somewhat sordid gloop.

Last time I had a scan they didn’t use the gloop, and the nice girl doing it was very pleased with herself about that.

I did find half a dozen clippy thingies still sticking to me when I got home, mind.

Sounds like an ECG, leaving you with supernumerary gubbins.

Have a Big Soothin’ Gin to go with it, TFM, along with much sympathy. I offended some back muscles recently, and coughing is a right bitch.

Belated sympathies back at you then.

In the meantime, I have taken both paracetamol and ibuprofen, and - victory! - I found some pseudoephedrine at the back of the medicine cupboard. Use By Jan '21 but do I care? A search assures me that should help with the drip.

I am rattling but vaguely hopeful.

Loads of side-effects with pseudoephedrine, but you’ll have read the ancient manuscript supplied with it. Complete sympathy for the pulled muscle - I hope you have a decent night of sleep, TFM.

I understand that they can’t reuse the clips, but wtf are you expected to do with them, Fishy?
