Horrible yellowish grey clouds here and the met office is promising all sorts of dire weather for today

Aren’t we lucky?

Could be worse, could be…oh, hang on.

I have managed to catch a lurgiferous thing. DiL, DS and Sil are also feeling woppit. Hardly life-threatening, but enough to take the shine off. Stll, we like living here and are thankful to have found this house.

Candles lit for the Lurgified.

I have been having extreme hay-fever symptoms on & off for the last 6 or so weeks, with streaming nose & eyes, & murderous itching.

Trial & error, & a bit of reading up suggests that it is an allergy/sensitivity to Mould Pollen, which I had never heard of.

The bastards puther about at night & are worse in damp conditions where there are lots of dead leaves about.

Hey Ho.

Bright, but cold here today.

I know these as spores - one and the same thing? Either way - what a bore for you, Carinthia. BM?

Please, Darling.

I am adjusting the timing of my antihistamines, & may take to wearing a mask on my evening trundles.

The Orsepiddle have asked that all visitors revert to wearing masks.

I have never stopped, in shops or on public transport.

I know them as Spores too, Soo. I think the site was American , as they called it ā€˜Mold Pollen’. Either way, it’s a thing.

Bluddy allergies. You get one, & then another 3 come along…

Oof.

Smoked bacon & Brie in toasted Pitta bread was enjoyed this evening. Apple & onion salad azzan ā€˜starter’.

I thing that soup may be made tomorrow. I can do the spicy carrot, which is delicious hot or cold, or an French onion type soup.

Proffers Pitchers.

Plenty of water falling from on high here for soup

Shall I send some to you dear Chatelaine?

Which has, erroneously, put me in mind of Waterzooi.

I hope wor Bee is less enlurged today. (Autocarrot was insisting on ā€˜enlarged’ there; it will be punished)

Not much chance of enlarging - took me an age to eat the breakfast banana and I’m wishing I hadn’t pre-ordered tonight’s takeaway. Still, we’re snug and well-provisioned and listening to the rain hammering and blustering against the conservatory.

I await a call from the GP

My inr is 8

This apparently is a bit high and I might need vitamin K

Well, that’s two NALLs in quick succession. I can’t say I approve.
Hope the Twellsian quack is on the ball quickly. And Soo, you’re looking at it all wrong: a smaller appetite for takeaway tonight means more left cold fer breakfast. Which strikes me (and I know I’m not alone) as a bluddy good start to the day/ year.
