So, who wants to help ... to frivol in the cellar? (Part 2)

That is one ruddy great ham!

We had a raucous time of it, today. The Brighton and Penicuik crews will be away when we re-visit tomorrow afternoon, to hoover up leftovers of today’s food (it was fab and shall be again).

Yep one hooj wee small pig bottom

It awaits its glaze and baking later

Round here the ham seems to be the be all and end all of the festive table - judging from the butcher’s shop on Moday ours was a dainty affair

And you know you are supposed to skim impurities from the cooking liquor?

I did try but there were none such is the quality of the meat

And tto think that at the start of August this pig was racing at our festival of fun gives me a smile

Pure thoroughbred racing pig

Another foggy day. No point in visual flying, and those instruments are heavy.

Well done, Chatelaine. I hope that you’ve remembered all of the Important Stuff, too.

Gin? I believe I will. Well-earned, if I say so myself.

Best nights to all. It’s over, for another year :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:

Morning

After we had friends round for dinner last night I have half a porkie pie to find a home for

It only involved 4lbs of meat with its own jelly forming to give it a nice flavour

As 3 of the party are English porkie pie was really savoured

Any takers for leftover pie and ham?

There are pickles

How sad about your shoesies

As a shoe lover myself I can try to imagine how you feel and come up with heart broken

Heartsorry rather than heartbroken Twellsy.

I cannot wear them, as my feets are now an different shape, so I hope that someone else will enjoy them.

I occasionally feel the urge to make a pork pie. If I have a little lie-down it generally recedes.

SiL would often feel the urge to make a game pie. After the little melt-down it has thoroughly receded.

The Embra crew are heaving a prolonged sigh of relief that C-mas is over. Poodle is now so laid-back, she’s horizontal. Mr Bee has enjoyed the gym and I am appreciating perfect indolence. Hogmanay? On our own, Indian takeaway - sorted

The fog is still with us.

A magpie is perchin’ on the end of the annexe waitin’ for visual minimum.
