A fine pie and a fine twirl: what more do we want?

Last night I completed the 52nd square: steaming along towards “quarter done” in eight squares’ time.

Looking good dear Chatelaine

I have just had a good long chat with B who is getting over the surgery last week

She knows I worry and I text or call her daily but usually it’s a brief communication

We think we might have to coordinate our appointments as she has many and I have a slew of them coming up

Fabulous, Darling!

Am I the only one who on seeing that sort of pie chimney, thinks immediately of Alien?

I look for the other 23 blackbirds

Deep joy

Sea area Shannon is predicted to be hurricane force 12

Dig out torches batteries and stay in after I get three chipped teeth looked at

You weren’t meant to eat the blackbird, Twellsy.

Sympathies.

We had Timmy at the vet and on ClareFM (our local radio) they were really really sressing do not go out if at all possible

Winds of up to 180kph are forecast for the coastline

Er that will be our water feature that’s a mere 5 miles away

Visible from the top of the hill our road is on

Batten down the Cellar.

Hope the vet visit was encouraging.

Yes Timmy has a lot of mucus behind his larynx and has steroid injections for tomorrow and Saturday

He also has pills of antibiotic and a med to place on his tongue that will help dissolve the mucous along with the pills and posh wild red salmon in oil

Though he has not eaten today poor wee scrap

We just hope for a bit of summer for him

He so loves being in the conservatory in a sunbeam

Poor Timmy deserves a bit of sunshine. Gentle furfles.

Shame, poor wee lad. Sending a gentle ear-scritch.

I know that cats & Candles don’t really mix, so I’ll light them, & send beams of their light through to Timmy. I can’t manage an ear-scritch. That would be a step too far for me.

I don’t think that Patrick is very well either.

Sigh

I spent my day shopping, ahead of the weather. We had need - need, I tell you - of a neep. Having searched four supermarkets, I decided to persuade Mr Bee that mashed parsnip and carrot would pass forran neep (he doesn’t even like parsnip) so I bought some. Driving past a tiny shop on our way home, he spotted a neep in the outdoor display. Cue hand-brake turn and he snaffled the ‘almost last one’. Phew.

Best nights, Cellarites,
