So, who wants to help ... to frivol in the cellar? (Part 2)

We stopped at the M&S mini food shop at a petrol station en route home from a rally and I have discovered a new way to use a tortilla wrap

A filling of shredded duck and hoisin sauce with cucumber and scallions

And it was delicious

I would never have thought to try oriental with Mexican food but it works so sometimes you can get great ideas from a local shop

Being realistic, a tortilla is just bread. Bendy bread. A bland, bendy carb. The pancakes that come with the shredded duck, cucumber, scallions and wee pot of hoisin sauce from yer friendly neighbourhood Chinese takeaway are also bland, bendy carbs. So it’s not much of a culinary evolution, imo.

Would I like one? Hell, yes.

Not much of a diversion/evolution except the size

The whole thing weighed in at a mere 400g

And it really was gorgeous

But I et it all…

I have just bought an 500g steak pie from what turned out to be the 75% off section in Tiny Tesco.

Machines not working properly, so no prices shown, but I got it for £1-06.

Full Moon tonight, & the Candles are lit.

Quattro fired-up too
