I have recently spoken to wor Chatelaine and she tells me that her flowers are in exquisite condition. Clearly an excellent florist. :bouquet:

I have just tasted one of the nastiest cups of (Indian) tea I can remember. Bleugh. A substitute has been prepared.

We had friends round for a bit of dinner and a good catch up

We had a BBQ under the parasols

Ribeye steaks with onions and mushrooms and steamed potatoes and salad

I thought it was not bad

I had some of the Chinese Takeaway I ordered on Thursday night. It was good, & nice to have something tasty now that my taste buds are recovering.

I thought that a selection of Chinese food would feed me for 4-5 days, & save me having to do much rather than just reheat, which is proving to be the case.

That’s enuff thinking for tonight.

I have cakes to ice and stuff to ready for the setting up of the the tea and coffees in the Village hall tomorrow

The Craft fair should be OK but the outdoor events at our village festival of fun might be upset by Floris
