Incoming old bat on broom to help with reduction of beer supplies

Sner depth measured at 40mm about an hour ago. Still coming down, but very thinly now.
Mini is wearing her white blanket, and the goldfish palace has a snow lid with a small hole in it where the pump plays for aeration.
Much less than that here and itâs melting nicely now. Some will doubtless come in, as mud does, on little cat feet.
Fog on the whole does not do that. Just sayinââŚ
Ha!
Fog does ingress here in the hovel
Snow melting here and freezing onto the ice there was under it
Anyone got a spare pair of ice skates size 6?
I plan to go and make a Postman Path up the drive if there is still snow here at about 3:30, because if it melts and then freezes overnight on the 1-in-6 it is really quite unsafe for the poor man. Sunset is 4:40 or thereabouts and at the moment itâs about one degree above freezing so there is a fair amount of dripping going on.
Had to read that twice.
Iâm not going to say that was deliberateâŚ

Watch, as they say, it, Fishy.

No new snow here, but itâs a bit brisk, -19°C feels like -29. Last night Heidi decided at 6PM sheâd like to go out - after being sensibly comatose all day in the warmest spot. We set the timer on the microwave for five minutes. When Mr Janie let her back in, he walked back to the microwave to cancel the timer. There were four minutes still left to go.
Heidi is an delicate and prudent cat.
Snow forecast in the next 10 minutes, apparently
The sky is as thick azzan bag, & it is Ferkinâ Cold
I have a little left in my tub of gritting salt, wot I bought from Lidl 2 years ago. I should have checked it sooner
