So, who wants to help ... to instaurate the cellar?

Meh. Perishing cold and miserable but ner snerr. Just wet. Cannae build a snowman, so will have to make do with a rainman, i.e. a puddle that counts. Not to be confused with e.g. the Atlantic - a puddle that really counts…
Gooood morning, my little chickabiddies.

An ear report: after I signed out yesterday there was a sort of pop in my left ear of the sort you sometimes get when you go up or down a hill fast in a car, followed by the most revolting taste that you can imagine at the back of my throat, and today I am no longer feeling dizzy all the time. So that’s good.

I sometimes (?) think I’m more than a bit weird. Listened to pick of the week earlier. A piece with two parents bereaved by suicide talking, a piece with two sons of abused women talking, a piece with an ICU nurse talking about the stresses of watching all those patients die… And I’m fine with all that. I mean, all very sad and heart wrenching but I coped fine.

Then they play Nimrod and I’m in tears - and that was supposed to be a piece about the healing power of music!

Gin. I need gin but have none. I do however have wine, off to fetch wine.

Nimrod is funeral music! It gets played at memorial services. Why did they think it would be healing?

(They will be saying that about the Last Post too, I suppose.)

Um, apparently because it made some bloke who was dying feel better!

Gawd!

Oh surely not.

On reflection, yes: weird.

Dunno why I did really, it often seems to be a list of reasons to be miserable. It was just, sort of, on.

Had a Skypey wotsit with DD, SiL and Poodle. It was good to talk.
