Just remember to care about yourself dear Chatelaine
Hugs and patient standing by till you are ready for the friendship here
So they are, Hedgers. Apparently, there has been a return of pirates to Cornwall, recently, resulting in an increased arrrrrr rate.
Time for bed? Yup.

Also I love the cover artwork.
Has anyone come across the Scottish postie and The Wellerman with joinin’in on t’internet?
Green welly boots overflowing scenario here. It was so friggin’ cold earlier that I broke out the emergency fan heater. Oaf did not like this whirry, evil, and above all New, Thing.
Well, in the mistaken conviction that I was shortly for me bed, I turned it off and kicked it under the table.
Oaf, having magically detached his frozen backside from the pavement and come in (again), is now fronting up to the silent fan and looking well 'ard. It is unkind to laugh at animals and small childer so I am doing Silent Mirth. He is the Mighty Protector of Hearth and Home, and I am very grateful. For his presence. His deeds, not so much.
The fan heater is not one whit cowed as yet. Will update in the morning should anything change.
Smiling Loudly here…

Wheesht, not too loudly, Darling, or he will take the huff. Actually, in the unyielding face of the fan heater, he remembered a v important Appointment outdoors anyway and is thus disporting his eejit self at -5°. I am burning incense and playing sea shanties. Soo, this is all your fault - ta, dear Bee x
Huge hugs to a Chatelaine… You are always good company here, Darling. Avvan pitcher of ‘and medicinal, too…’

A teeny tiny one from me, Twellsy.
Shanties are lifting the mood in the hive. I plan a walk but it’s very cold and icy, so the treadmill may see some action.

I am having a trip out
To the village where I am allowed to sit in the car and wait for the Bull to go for my prescription
I hate Covid lockdown but I do understand it’s reason and will continue to be good no matter how fed up I am
I have a nice chateaubriand for dinner tomorrow so I will browse appropriate sauces for that with salad and proper home made chips
Back to the 70s food!
Prawn cocktails? Scampi in a basket? Black Forest Gateau?
All of these things can be done well, and I have enjoyed all of them.
How often they were done well is another matter.
