The chicken was lovely, &, once again, I made meself a dish of cruditees, which was refreshing.

Disarster only just averted this evening - I went to collect me paper, having asked James to save me one, & he hadn’t put a note onnit, so 'twas gorn…

There was standing room only on my bottom lip, so he went through to the back, & found me one.

He was very apologetic…

Ahem

[directs a positively Precambrian Look at yon Fish and yon TFM]

Burp sounds considerably better than eructation, to this Triffid at any rate.

I will deal with That Sparrer in due course.

Think of all the trouble you’d have getting a new gin supplier.

Orf to me nest.

None at all. And they probably wouldn’t attack wing mirrors.

But a Sparrer is irreplaceable. So stop that right now. The Gin (wottamisaying) is neither here nor there.
Plus, that other Bird needs attacking.

Oh, I don’t think it’ll dare show its beak for another 3,800 posts or so.

(There was a spurious apostrophe in the first version that I typed. Yes, in that place. I must be ill, as if the alternating sweats and shivers last night weren’t enough of a giveaway.)

Gus, dearest, I simply thought you would prefer to be thought of as a Triffid, rather than a Delicate Flah.

Triffids can be delicate as they only grow in certain conditions

Still a pitcher plant from the cloud forests is hard to grow and somewhat in high demand

Unlike poor triffids which are maligned I feel

Le’sh find out…

(But at least for now it is/I am warm enough to be at work in the gazebo, surrounded by fresh air and all the gossip birdsong. Even if I start shivering in half an hour and have to come in, it was worth it.)
