A cleaner is an excellent idea, Fishy, if only to keep kitchen & bathrooms in order.
Rethinking layout & use is good too - there are various dumping grounds here, which are always on the ‘about to be moved’ list, & get no further. That they are becoming festooned in cobwebs is another matter…

I had to go & collect my Prescription, so timed it for an visit to the chip shop on my way back. Haddock, fabulous as always.
The Pub opposite the chippy opened their ‘beer garden’ for the 1st time this afternoon. Beer garden is somewhat of an misnomer, as the Pub is onna junction with a main road…
Anyhoo, the beer & cider on draught is fabulous, & it was certainly extremely busy, but the tables & people were far too close together for my liking.

I agree, Dahlink, but with 3 fewer tables it would be easier to maintain a reasonable distance, & stop the Buggas on the pavement from trying to join in

I’ll be making pasta with a cheese sauce for DiL, tomorrow. The cheese will be Cornish Crackler with a bit of Grana Padano. Mustard in the sauce. Anna side of insalata caprese. She hasn’t long been out of hospital, but says she could manage this. The rest of us will have a Turkish meal delivery. This is to celebrate Mr Bee’s birthday, to occur on Monday.
