Thinking of phone covers…
There are people who have “bumpers” that go round their phones but provide no protection on the front. They are often young and cool and can clearly get at their phones faster than I can. They also tend to have cracked screens while they wait to get a new phone, and their phone is probably less than 18 months old.
And then there are boring old people like me who have covers that flap over the screen, and phones that aren’t cracked.

I dropped my phone yesterday and Mr Janie dropped his today. Actually he dropped his down the stairs, I heard it go bumpety bump. Anyhow, both are fine, luckily. And have cases that close.
