The avian rabbits ducks is…
All birds is sparrows, except for ducks.
Ostriches are sparrers? Who knew?
But, if all birds except ducks are sparrers, then there is a sparrer near here what I could do without, thank you very much. That is the sparrer what started crowing at 4.15 this morning and didn’t stop until 8.30.
Coq au vin, anyone?
It is from Owning Up, by George Melly. A member of the band was a True Cockney, and made this remark.
Titi begs to differ
She is a parrot and proud of it!
Parrots is tiny dinosaurs.
Yes, that does rather make the point.
Looking at that photo, I begin to understand ornithophobia.
Awwww…
Stopped??
Amateur… (Actually, probably trying to get someone open the coop - they’ll stop once they’re out and about.)
I’d miss the dawn trio of Soo, Tysie and Kiki
We saw one such a couple of weeks ago, mit bunny attached. Had it been erminous, I’d have flipped my superstitious lid. Not that I have one.
Soo xx
This chap is feral, so coopless. Lots of feral poultry here, they do well thanks to the almost total absence of predators.
I love that heron!
No, we don’t want a pet baby heron in the cellar!
The other livestock would be made unhappy. Anyway, as a fish I forbid it.
[gets an extry load of pignuts for Lonnie]
The heron is a wild bird so it would be unhappy here
I can still admire the wee baby though…
I’m sure that That Birdie of ours has wild moments too, Twellsy…
Carinthia.xx
For once, Twellsy dear, we are in complete agreement. And I think that calls for Pitchers, if not Slammers.
Your very good health!
