I would sort out the ribbon on yer Nat first, Twellsy. It’s wired, so can easily be shaped into an ‘bit of fuss’.*
*This was the expression used by a customer 30 years ago. She was attending a Jewish wedding & the rules were the that it the ladies wore long evening dresses wiv jackets, & something on their heads. A Nat was deemed too heavy, & it was before fascinators & fancy headpieces had achieved world domination, so ‘a bit of fuss’ was created.

Today’s walk was supposed to be cool and breezy. It wasn’t and I want my money back. We saw the Horse and Cart that had caused a stir last week. Good driver, out amongst traffic, absolutely sound.
Another elderly neighbour has died. That makes a total of too many in our street.

Well, the headachey nonsense that we have both endured - endured, I tell you! - is still occurring. The humidity levels are at dripping wet and the pollen count is stil horribly high. Sigh. I’ll have a shower in the interests of reducing the gentle glowing.
