Nothing wrong with horse meat, it can be very good. And Rabbit is delicious, I loved my Gran’s rabbit stew, it was my favourite meal after fish & chips as a child.

Did anyone else here eat dog biscuits, the ones that came in different shapes and colours, when they were a child? I remember rather enjoying them, until the parents found out and put them out of my reach.

Our dog used to steal our teething son’s Bickiepegs; we would find just the pin and ribbon attached to the child’s shoulder, and a smug looking dog.
So we gave the baby the dog’s Bonios to teeth on. He loved them.
Then we looked at the (80% or so sugars) ingredients list on the Bickiepegs and felt we had done the right thing. And when our son finally did grow some hair it was splendidly glossy!

The dog-biscuits he liked best were the dark brown ones, but I think he was perfectly well aware they were not chocolate.
All dog chocolate drops (which aren’t chocolate anyway) tastes disgusting to me, but it did serve to put each off our children off stealing sweeties at an early age.

I got some for burgering a while ago, but there was a lot of spicing already added so one couldn’t really get at any distinctive underlying taste.
It’s a great source for putrescine, should you have a… need for some.
The black ones are best.
