It’s not feckin’ Friday. Stop trying to confuse me.
Yes, we are comfy and contented, Carinthia. I had decided that the whole plaguey-element-difficulty-booking-a -table-for-tea-time-repast was just too much trouble and the pasta salad that we ate in Aviemore carpark was really rather adequate. We arrived in Ullapool well before sunset. Happy times.

This place doesn’t half confuse me sometimes.
Move up a bit on the confused bench…
(Which ought to be a painting by Salvador Dali.)
Thank-you Gus
I, of course, am too young to have used setting lotion myself, but my grandmother certainly did…

But but but but
It’s Saturday night!
Prolly takes more than a day to get it out again.
Yes, dere Fish. Hence my original protest.
It was expected to last most of the next week, Dunnock. Hair liberally wetted with setting lotion, & then wound onto rollers
Bluddy Torture…

I once took my Grandma to my hairdresser
He was doing my highlights and being camper than Brighton he was a darling to a 90 year old wanting a wash and set
He put rollers in her wet hair with mousse and blow dried her while feeding her tea and cake from the bakery next door
She had a ball as she was treated like a queen
I kissed my hairdresser for being so nice to an old lady
But no Amani
It was definitely still available in the mid to late '70s.
I tried it. Eurgh.
Hmm
The security light at the back of the house has come on again. That’s the 2nd time since midnight.
No sign of Kevin the teenage badger
Thank God

I have a problem with my bake on Tuesday with my on-line class
The Bull does not like carrot cake
As we are baking one I will have to give it away
Now whose children need a sugar rush from an elfy cake*?
- Must be elfy with all those carrots…
I can’t understand why it has become so popular in recent (ish) years. All too often unsubtle, stodgy and faintly depressing.
I tried one once…
