It has carrots and potatoes in small bits under it, which have been cooking in the chicken- and lemon-juice, with smoked paprika and garlic salt. I am about to eat it and see what it tastes like.
meep! It does indeed sound delicious. As does the Chatelaine’s soup.
I have mushrooms needing to be used, so probably some sort of pasta catastrophe based on them. Oooh, still got some truffle tagliatelle: right, that is A Plan.
Here we are dining on the other half of the cauli cheese and hotted up leftover sossiges and bread as a carb
The chicken tasted good, and I am hoping the lemon will have been Good For Me.
Pholcodine fer the Irritating Coff, Dear Fish.
I’m off, before the connection fails.
Soo xxxx
Cauli cheese is being awkward to hot - it’s been in 45 minutes and is a mere 30C in the middle!
Kinell… Even I am warmer than that in the liver region.
That’s a Bluddy Long Time, Twellsy
I thought that you were just reheating it

I did eventually re hot it - it was a load of cauli cheese in a thick terracotta dish that slowed it down
The dish was a gift from my late MiL so I treasure it
I adored her and her French style that was so dainty and lovable
I have just learned that pigs-in-blanket-flavoured Christmas chocolates are an actual thing.
But only available this month, not for actual Christmas.
Anyone fancy helping me smash the system? I can lend you a hammer.
Yes please
They sound luvverly
Lump or sledge?
Sledge, 16lb. I’ll keep me scythe.
Dear God
I can’t unsee that, Dunnock

You forgot to mention that these PIGS-IN-BLANKETS-FLAVOURED chocolates are…
…vegan-friendly.
Ah, but we all know that the pig is a vegetable; they grow in orchards, what more do you want?
I can’t cope…
Actually, 1 of the pubs in town, which does fabulous food, is always fully booked for their monthly Vegan day/evening.
I think that there is a much better choice for shopping & dining out for Vegans/Vegetarians than ever before, which is an Good Thing

Bleurgh. Ack. Groogh. Whurgle. I didn’t order a morning.
Have it taken away.
Today is not a good day. At 6.45 this morning it was 3 years since I last hugged my daughter. It is raining and it feels to me like even the sky is crying, daft old woman that I am.
