So, who wants to help ... to instaurate the cellar?

Not sure that not taking the tablets because blood tests because no one knows what the f___ is going on is a cause for celebration, exactly.
On the other hand, I am sure a Proper Job would be appreciated.

Joe did not quite manage to buy Tesco out of it

I bought the last nine bottles in the store

And had a bbq before it rained

I have a nice steak pie filling burbling in the oven and pastry made and in the fridge

I know that no cellarati are pie eaters so I feel safe saying I gave pie on the menu and am only making enuff for us two

With a second pie filling for the freezer

I like pies! May leave some of the pastry, mind.

Infinite beer fer Feral.

I see one small drawback to that.

I like pies! But if you only have enough for two … still, next time …

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving, everyone. Here in the nation’s hotspot, I mean capital, we are urged to spend it only with those who live under our roof. So that’s what we’ll do.

Bats, deathwatch beetles & pigeons?

Not your roof in particular. More a theoretical roof.

Could be! To my knowledge, we have Heidi and … as she is not doing her job properly … a few mice. Oh, and some spiders of course.

Have a Happy one anyway.

Here, I remembered that because it was cheapo I bought 3kg diced beef from Booker a while ago. So I hoicked it out of the freezer yesterday before it got too old, and am using a couple of kg or so of it to make a stew for later in the week (with onions and mushrooms and carrots and thyme-or-basil-I-haven’t-decided and red wine and garlic salt) and the rest for a beef-and-mushroom stroganoff for tonight and tomorrow.

I am assisted in this by having got 1.1kg mushrooms from Booker on my trip out for the flu jab on Saturday; also 10kg of onions, because theirs are almost always better quality than Lidl’s and about the same price. I don’t mind going to Booker on a Saturday when it’s well-nigh empty and I am unlikely to come within twenty feet of another soul before the checkout. Or to put it another way, I’ve been there four times this year, and two were since lockdown.

Oh, absolutely.

GIven 'em up for St Ethelburga’s Tide, me.

So I can be safely left to guard 'em while you do something more interesting somewhere else.

Feral can’t swim?

I actually have enough for 10 individual pies so I might just make them and freeze whole pies

If ye gannets leave any

It’s more of the tiny cow beef and it looks good

A friend of mine was watching a cooking video recently, headset off and automatic captions on:

...and then last but not least a splash of wash your sister
sauce and that's it we'll go ahead and take a fork and give this
a mix so as not to overwork the meat with our hot sweaty
    hands...

…hang on hang on…?

What cellarati would wish all butter pastry shells surrounding beautifully tender beef onion and mushroom casserole cooked long and slow?
