Lidl: apparently where you go if the idea of “keeping away from people” is alien to you. Aldi is doing rather better, but didn’t have anything that I hadn’t already got at Lidl.

Good Morrison’s: unified queuing for the checkouts. Bad Morrison’s: up and down the sweetie and chocolate aisles. Pure coincidence I’m sure.

Tesco: “I’m never going in there again”, only with more glo’al stops. Decided not to.

Sprouts are the new flour. Not to be had anywhere. Has Mumsnet told people to stock up?
