Neither am I. Pore Twellsy. I have saved up, quite a bit, and present you with:
Cost an arm anna leg, but I have plenty of those to spare. Sharingâs good, mind. Let The Recovery Be Gin!

This evening it is ho! for the Scouts Quiz & Ploughmanâs Supper Iin the village hall.
Livinâ the Ambridge dream here
Healing thoughts for our ailing ones.
Safe journeys for them as is travelling.
Merry stews and crispy things all

Water tablets are not able to cope with the volume of water and tea I am consuming
The physio and me could fall out
She is wanting me to use a Zimmer frame
Thatâs not happening
Donât be daft, Twellsy
You are being Barrier - nursed in supervised conditions. Give it a try, at least
Carinthia.xx
No barrier nursing as I negative for the flu
Just lots of stair rods iv and antibiotics to help avoid pneumonia and such like things
I just hate the way a person sees me for five minutes and has no clue about my life and thinks wheelchair and zimmer
I will get to walk around to B and chatter about knitting sewing cooking making candles and all sorts of stuff like that
Sorry Darling but Iâm not sure about your take on that ATM.
You are obviously poorly, otherwise you wouldnât be there, & anything which helps you mobilise safely, is surely a good thing.
You have a âChariotâ at home, donât you, to push around, like a âGangsta Grannyâ as BG59 used to refer to his mother?
These are professional people who are trying to keep you going. No-one is saying that you wonât get back to doing these things, but donât miss out on the steps & support to rebuild your strength.

Meanwhile I channelled my inner Gus* and bought a pot of Pea and Spinach dip (among others) for todayâs gamer chow.
* on the basis that no child would go near it, based purely on the name.
Itâs rather nice, actually. Chickpeas, parsley and basil are also involved. Tesco not-quite-cheapest dips range.
This izz wot we ate. It wozz jolly tasty.
I agree with Carinthia. Even if you feel that the physio is underestimating you, Twellsy, just prove her wrong. Use the bluddy zimmer and progress. I wish I could be with you, but, yâknow. More hugs.
Soo xx
Ach I know the physio is trying to be helpful
But I have my chariot in here with me
Walking the four yards to the bathroom have me in a sweaty gasping heap
I have history with zimmers having fallen while trying them
Yes, I remember this, now. I hope that you know that your coterie of Cellarites is right behind you (Iâm sure that you must).
Soo xx
Indeed we are. We want you well again, Twellsy, and soon. Have a hug, if youâd like one.
Thanks mates
I will fight to retain independent till theyâre nailing the lid down
Pitchers?
I donât want pictures, ta very much.

A magical mystery tour for you, Twellsy:
eta: Best sleeps possible, Cellarites. I hope that Ciara doesnât affect any one of us adversely and that our Poorly Ones recover soonest.

Rain beating at the windows here

Itâs getting a little blowy here. Orf to me nest wiv the Hendricks-bottle.
Home safe, and no wind to speak of on the way back; it started about a mile from home.
Porridge, bed.
Gânight.
Early breakfast, or light supper, Fishy?

Blowing a hoolie here now. We won the quiz. Some small scrubbed and polished and pressed representatives of the Hitler Youth, I mean Scouts & Allied Trades were very energetic fetchinâ anâ carryinâ but it was an ok evening nonetheless. The wine helped
Should have taken some of That Sparrerâs dip along.
Twellsy, I completely get your resistance to the zimmer. But try not to exert yoyrself too much; you sound somewhat under the weather. Get better and home where you can do as you please. Please.
