Theyâre a bit nifty, ainât they? We only have five tube fittings here, but theyâve all been LED-ified now.
Tonightâs Gin-Off is Opihr vs Hortus.
I have another 7, but they are longer, so may look at a pack

You donât sayâŚI know not the Hortus, but Iâm willing to learn.
Gus - I made the cake! I shall see how it appears, once Iâve sprung it and may send you a pic. It smells gorgeous. Thank you!
Soo xx
Erm, you called?
Soo xx
Oooh, Soo, that is good news. I was wondering how you were faring, and I am delighted that early indications are satisfactory.
Hortus gins are sold by Lidl. They do a London-style gin, a Spiced gin, a Rhubarb and Ginger gin and a Raspberry gin. The spiced one is said to be as good as Opihr, and tonight That Bird plans to test this, I think.
Hmmmm. Lidl. Thatâs manageable. I look forward to That Birdâs Pronouncements.
Gus, the Cake is a wee bit brown on its edges. Iâll prolly email the photie.
Soo xx
Paint the brown bits wiv a bit more rosepetal jam if you are worried - sort of culinary after-sun treatment. I am confident that it will taste as good as it smells and the iinterior will, trust me on this, be moist. Or for those who donât like that word (actually I donât, much) succulent.
Attabee!
Mwah!

Sorry, but not surprised, at your likely incarceration. Thinking Thoughts at you.

Results of tonightâs Gin-Off: Hortus Oriental Spiced vs Opihr.
Both have noticeable spice flavours, but the Hortus is subtle while the Opihr jumps down yer froat. Hortus is about half the flavour strength.
Iâll go with the Opihr from now on.
Oh, dear.
I had hoped it may be otherwise.
Soo xx
So had I: there is an eight quid price difference.
Quite.

Um, if it helps, Amazon have Opihr for ÂŁ18 per 70cl:
