One does not learn from experience. Vase. Flowers. Resident Idiot (who was very distressed).
It has been mopped up. Flowers transferred to stable vase.
Watching bits of Dr Strangelove. Which has nothing, nothing, to do with the above. Except fluids.
One of those mugs they used on Babylon 5 and Deep Space 9?

Not keen on hospital waiting rooms…
Can’t you ‘people watch’, joe? I find that to be quite distracting.
Soo xx
I could try, but the main problem is the daytime TV blasting out. Feels like being lobotomised through the ears
I feel your pain, joe. Could you compare and contrast ear and nose shapes while plugging your own ears?
Soo xx
Well, maybe…
Goodness - you’ll be entertaing the rest of the captives alright!

I suppose the fact that I’m still waiting, three hours after triage, is a good thing. Better than being seen as a priority…
Triage? I’m sorry, joe, I have been obtuse. What ails thee?
Soo xx
Bah, what are they doing to you now?
That is a Very Good Idea.
Nothing, I hope! Had a bit of swelling in left leg, so—in the light of the trouble I had with the right one—thought I’d better see the doctor. He referred me for a precautionary ultrasound. Probably just fluid—I’ve been proofreading a thesis for someone on a rather tight deadline for the last couple of weeks, so have been stuck in the office for VERY long days. Once I get back to regular exercise I’ll probably be fine.
