So, who wants to help ... to frivol in the cellar? (Part 2)

I’ll be thinking of you.

Taking Poodle back to Embra, this morning. We must wait for her breakfast to ‘go down’, as she is prone to travel sickness.

You have my deepest sympathy & empathy, TFM. The Bank Holiday will complicate things, but I’m sure that he wouldn’t have it any other way…

Ha! It has been said, in fact a cousin expressed surprise that he didn’t hang on until Christmas eve to make a proper job of it.

Hmmm, I just deleted a load of stuff I probably shouldn’t say, in relation to ‘good times’ - or not! Ignore me, I’m tired and in need of gin.

Condolences TFM

(Have been somewhat out of the loop of late, so not been keeping up with things. Not looking likely to improve much until mid-July, either…)

Gin we can do. Drink the gin lake dry if you need to!

I once had to help deal with someone from Somerset having died in Glasgow in the afternoon on the Friday before August Bank Holiday. That was jolly, what with the necessary officials not being around until Tuesday and his having hired a van in Somerset that had to be returned to the hire place by Tuesday evening. Luckily I had gone up there by train not car and was able to help with the van, at least, as I abandoned other people to deal with certification and the body.

I wish you as few complications as may be, both bureaucratic and emotional.

I am blaming anyone but myself for my current state of bloatedness

400g of flour and 2 large eggs makes a huge amount of pasta and we ate it all between us

So who can I blame?

Blame me - I have broad shoulders!

Grandbee is fighting fit and trying on tantrums as a way of dominating we adults. He got The Look, a couple of times (not proud of it - it’s just what my face does), and decided that being pleasant was the way forward. So, Poodle was left behind and we will sorely miss her and she us, I suspect.

I wish TFD and you peaceful sleep, TFM.

There was no garlic in the bacon onion shroom and cheese sauce I cobbled together pre Mr Tesco delivering

He had no Galway Hooker so I will have to do with O’Hara’s hop adventure until I get into a supermarket to see what’s what in the beer world
